User security

Only users with identification badges can access the installation controls. The 7-digit personal code provides additional faultless identification. A security zone with a contact mat prevents anyone from approaching the handling area. The barcode label on the boats prevents any confusion and enables perfect positioning.

Boat security

The boats are handled carefully and delicately by mechanisms using hydraulic jacks, accurately adjusted to enabling firm yet harmless handling.

Hoisting and translation movements are operated by electric motors controlled by electronic variable speed drives enabling smooth accelerations and decelerations.

Manoeuvring accuracy is within less than 10 mm.

Supports are fitted with protections against any scratches or damage to the hull. The boats are placed in cells fitted with soft wood supports. The storage racks have been designed to withstand winds of up to 168 kph.

Installation security

Operating security:
A PLC controls all the Phar’O installation functions. In the event of a problem, a remote supervisor can take over control of the installation.

User assistance:
On call 24 hours a day, the remote supervisor can contact the user by phone to assist him if necessary.

Remote surveillance:
In the event of technical anomalies, intrusion or dangerous weather conditions, the remote supervisor can also directly operate the installation, take any necessary measures or delegate someone on site.
